A BRIEF BIO:
TIMONANDA (Born 1962) was born in rural Michigan, to parents of French, Polish, English and Norwegian descent.
From an early age his desire to travel the open road and go to exotic places lead him to Switzerland & France as an exchange student. Then, before beginning his first year of college he traveled though-out his native state, across Canada (where he was photographed by Canadian news outlets bowing to a bemused Princess Margaret of England), and across the United States of America: hitch-hiking the whole way. He reported his adventures in a series of semi-weekly articles in his small town newspaper under the banner “Travels with TJ”.
Upon graduation from Ferris State University his travel continued throughout Europe, England and Scandinavia. He settled in Amsterdam for a year where he exhibited new Dutch Landscapes and worked as a design assistant in an advertising firm called Dart Deign.
Returning to the USA in the early 80’s, Timo worked at the ICA BOSTON, Museum of Fine Arts /BOSTON and the Boston Film Video Foundation, before moving to the Island of Martha’s Vineyard to pursue his interest in the arts, music, film-making and theater.
Today Timo still calls Martha’s Vineyard home, and continues to travel and explore new places. He enjoys painting, exhibiting new work, making short films, and participating in community events.
